Requirements
Mandatory
- Valid Trade Certificate from a recognised and accredited institution.
- Computer literacy and experience using fleet maintenance and workshop management systems.
- At least 8 years of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Foreman or Workshop Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage workshop operations to maximise fleet availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
- Oversee servicing, repairs, inspections and rebuilds of trucks and trailers.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Analyse vehicle breakdown trends and implement corrective action plans.
